This will be a comprehensive course focusing on the anatomy of the spine and upper limb. Delivered primarily using human cadavers to provide a hands on, visual approach which will be supplemented by lectures, the delegate will benefit from a journey through the upper limb and spine of the human body. The course is to be held at the Human Anatomy Resource Centre, University of Liverpool.
This event aims to equip clinicians with the anatomical knowledge of the spine and upper limb required to effectively treat various pathologies in clinical practice. The course content will concentrate on the spine: vertebral column, spinal ligaments, spinal cord and meninges. In addition, the upper limb will be examined to include: the musculature of the shoulder, upper arm, forearm and hand, and the skeleton, nerves and arteries of this region.
