The British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (BAPO) is the professional body for people working in prosthetics and orthotics in the UK. BAPO exists for our members and so providing them with high-quality support is very important, we have a small team who are home-based but in the Midlands area that focuses on member support and professional development through education courses and events.

The Membership & Events Administrator will provide high-quality administrative support to BAPO while providing membership support and assisting in the planning and delivery of events such as our conferences.

Location: Home-based in the Midlands area with some travel to meetings and events.
Salary: £26,775 pro rata.

South West AHP Massive Festival of Growth Podcast Series launched
On Thursday 18 July 2024, NHS England Southwest Workforce, Training and Education AHP Programme Team, delivered an annual regional event in collaboration with Gloucestershire AHPs. The Southwest AHP Massive Festival of Growth took place at Westonbirt, The National Arboretum. Whilst being immersed in Westonbirt’s forest, attendees listened to inspirational keynote speeches, campfire stories and conversations. Colleagues are invited to tune into the South West Allied Health Professions (AHPs) Massive 2024 Festival of Growth podcast series, featuring 12 episodes. The series includes 8 live campfire stories recorded live at Westonbirt Arboretum and 4 additional episodes.
The storytellers include a range of AHPs from across our South West sharing stories that connect, inspire, and elevate.
