Nominations are now open for BAPO P&O Awards 2025!


BAPO is dedicated to recognising and celebrating our prosthetists, orthotists, technicians, support workers, and learners. We are delighted to open nominations for the 2025 BAPO Awards. We are pleased to announce an additional 4 Awards this year!

Anyone can nominate an individual for these awards, including clinicians, colleagues, technicians, patients, learners, and managers. You can also nominate yourself.

The Awards for 2025 are:

Nominations close on 31st July 2025.

Shortlisted nominees will be contacted in August, and the winners will be announced at the BAPO Awards ceremony (date and location to be confirmed).

Menu

The Awards evening has two menu options to choose from. All dietary requirements can be fulfilled after booking by completing the dietary form included in the booking.

Parking

There are over 450 parking spaces at Glasgow Science Centre including 28 disabled spaces.

Tickets are issued at the entry barrier to the car park. The event hosts will validate these at the ticket desk so that guests do not have to pay to park for the duration of your event.

Vehicles are not permitted to be left overnight in the car park and if so a charge will apply.

There are 6 electric charging stations.

Taxi

There is a Taxi rank located outside of the building between the Glasgow Science Centre and the BBC. The contact number for Glasgow Taxi’s is 0141 429 7070.
