Connected Care

What is Connected Care?

Connected Care is a biweekly virtual webinar series designed to bring together professionals from diverse disciplines and organisations with an interest in prosthetics and orthotics. The aim is to foster collaboration, share expertise, and explore innovative approaches to integrated care.

Through interactive sessions, the series aims to:

  • Promote knowledge exchange across professions and sectors.
  • Encourage engagement and dialogue on best practices and emerging trends.
  • Strengthen partnerships to enhance patient-centred, holistic care.

By connecting ideas and people, Connected Care supports a culture of working together to deliver better outcomes for service users.

Date & Time

Every Wednesday from 12:00 – 1.00 PM. Potential formats include panel discussion and Q&A, interactive workshops, and case study showcase.

Who can register to deliver a Connected Care webinar?

We welcome proposals from individuals, teams and organisations who are passionate about collaboration and innovation in health care, including:

  • Charity and voluntary organisations supporting health, wellbeing, and community initiatives.
  • Healthcare professionals from any discipline.
  • Interdisciplinary teams working across health, social care, education, or community sectors.
  • Researchers and educators with insights into integrated care or collaborative practice.
  • Organisations and service providers committed to improving patient-centred care.
  • Partnership projects showcasing successful cross-sector working.

What is the cost of delivering a Connected Care webinar?

The cost to deliver a Connected Care webinar is £199.00 , which includes administrative support, promotion, and hosting. There is no cost for individual professionals who are not representing an organisation but are instead sharing best practice.

What is the cost of attending a Connected Care webinar?

There is no cost to attend a Connected Care webinar, they are free to attend and open to anyone who has an interest in the topic being presented. All Connected Care webinars are recorded and made available exclusively to BAPO members in the Members Area of the BAPO website.

What are the benefits to BAPO partners for the Connected Care webinars?

Connected Care webinars are offered at no additional cost as part of our partner package. Partners enjoy

  • Exclusive first refusal on available webinar dates.
