The Technician and Support Worker Committee is dedicated to advocating for our technical and support workforce, ensuring they have a voice within their professional body. The committee is a key link to all other committees within BAPO, ensuring all relevant workstreams and consultations have the opportunity to be viewed through the lens of our technician colleagues.

I love designing and creating devices that truly transform patients’ lives, helping them regain independence and improve their day-to-day activities. Seeing the positive impact my work has on their confidence, mobility, and overall well-being is incredibly rewarding and motivates me to continually refine my skills. I take pride in collaborating closely with patients to understand their unique needs and lifestyle goals, ensuring each device is tailored for maximum comfort and functionality.
I have a particular passion for research and innovation, focusing on developing flexible prosthetic sockets that integrate soft liners with hard laminated sockets to enhance patient comfort and mobility. Skilled in device customization and troubleshooting, I strive to improve outcomes and quality of life for my patients.
I genuinely enjoy learning new techniques and advancements daily and maintain a positive, collaborative approach to my work. To deepen my knowledge and expand my professional capabilities, I am currently pursuing a Level 3 Prosthetics and Orthotics course at Derby University.
