The Executive Committee (EC) is accountable to and acts with the authority of the Members. It develops the strategy, policy and direction of the Association and ensures that the Member’s interests are represented in all areas.
The Editorial Committee is responsible for producing our magazine, BAPOConnect. This is issued three times a year and is free to all BAPO members. The magazine is also available by subscription to other interested parties.
This Committee deals with the professional issues that affect the Association and its members. It carefully considers issues that have a direct bearing on the daily practice of Prosthetists, Orthotists, Technicians and Assistants.
The British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (BAPO) was established to encourage high standards of prosthetic and orthotic practice. It is committed to Continued Professional Development and education to enhance standards of prosthetic and orthotic care.
